Rotherham United are inviting supporters to join us on our annual Golf Day on Wednesday 3rd July 2024.
This popular summer event in the commercial calendar is once again upon us with bookings now being taken for teams to compete in the event which will once again be held at Wath Golf Club.
In previous years, supporters have been joined on the course by Chairman Tony Stewart and a number of first team players, with their attendance set to be confirmed following the summer when boss Steve Evans has assembled his squad for the 2024/25 campaign.
The format of the day will see teams arrive at Wath Golf Club from 7:45am where they will be able to enjoy breakfast sandwiches and tea and coffee before heading out onto the course for a 9am shotgun start.
Whilst completing their round, players will have the opportunity to win prizes alongside the first place and runners-up gongs such as ‘Nearest the Line’ and ‘Nearest the Pin’.
Guests will also be welcome to enjoy some liquid refreshment in the form of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages from the halfway house located on the course, with snacks also available to pick up to enjoy for the remainder of the round.
Golfers will then retire to the clubhouse for a two-course meal and presentation ceremony.
The club has already received some provisional interest from teams who competed in the event last year but places are available for new players to get involved this summer.
The event is priced at £450 + VAT per team of four golfers.
