Rotherham United are delighted to confirm the appointment of Dan Green as the club’s new First Team Coach.
Green links back up with Millers boss Matt Taylor - with whom he worked at Exeter City - on the back of a spell with Premier League outfit Aston Villa and arrives in South Yorkshire in time for the start of pre-season.
The Millers’ latest appointment brings with him a wealth of coaching experience having enjoyed 12 years on the staff at St. James Park before being headhunted by Villa last summer.
Green had been instrumental in the development of a host of exciting young talents whilst with the Grecians and was subsequently cherry-picked by the Villa Park-club to join them as their U21s coach to help their promising group to realise their potential.
Having worked so successfully alongside Taylor previously, Green has made the decision to join the Millers ahead of their 2023/24 Sky Bet Championship campaign.
