Rotherham United would like to place on record their thanks to everyone that played a part in our tributes ahead of Remembrance Day at Saturday’s Sky Bet Championship fixture with Norwich City at AESSEAL New York Stadium.

Here at Rotherham United, we feel it incredibly important to pay our respects to our fallen servicemen and women but we wouldn’t be able to do so without the help of the many volunteers that we enlist to help us around this time of year.

We would like to wholeheartedly thank the members of Rotherham MCVC, the Sheffield City Pipe Band, bugler Robert Crick and indeed every single person who helped us to once again arrange what we feel is a tribute befitting of those individuals who gave their today, so that we could have a tomorrow.

An incredible amount of work goes in behind-the-scenes to ensure that these tributes run smoothly, involving individuals across the club and the Community Sports Trust – headed up by Jamie Noble – and we were once again very proud of our Remembrance Day tributes on Saturday.

We would also like to take this opportunity to thank the supporters of both Rotherham United and Norwich City for an impeccably observed silence on the day.

Of course, Remembrance Day tributes will continue as we approach 11.11.22 and we are sure that Millers fans observing similar tributes on the road at Sheffield United and Luton Town will do so with the utmost respect.
