Thorpe Hesley Primary 1 Vs 0 Greasbrough Primary
Once again the G4S quarter final was a nervous encounter. The match saw both Greasbrough and Thorpe Hesley being reluctant to push forward and leave themselves vulnerable at the back.
This led to both teams being limited to exert efforts as they were reluctant to cancel each other out. The teams were evenly matched and it took something special to break it. This changed on the 4 minute mark as Thorpe Hesley’s midfielder received the ball and took a shot into the bottom right corner. Following the goal Greasbrough tried to repel the attack but Thorpe Hesley held defence and earned a spot in the final match against St. Mary’s.
