Chairman Tony Stewart talks to www.themillers.co.uk...

Chairman Tony Stewart thanked supporters for the ‘electric’ atmosphere created at New York Stadium on Tuesday night.

The Millers recorded back-to-back victories over their top six competitors after dispatching Peterborough last weekend, followed up by a convincing result and performance against Brentford in mid-week.

“The atmosphere against Brentford was electric and I think it is clear for all to see the intent and the work that is going on within the Club both on and off the pitch,” the Chairman told www.themillers.co.uk

“The Board, the Manager and everyone throughout the Club share the high expectations of supporters about where we all want to be and we're enjoying the journey we are on every step of the way.”

Next up for the Millers is another home game with in-form Bristol City and the Chairman is looking forward to another high-quality encounter in front of a packed NYS.

“Saturday is another huge fixture at New York Stadium as we look to continue our fine form,” he added.

“Bristol City will travel in good numbers so promises to be another great atmosphere.

“We are on the home straight, the business end of the season, and it'd be wonderful if we could see New York Stadium as near to capacity as possible for our remaining home fixtures and stand shoulder to shoulder with each and every player that pulls on a Millers shirt and let's continue to push on, together.”

Tickets are still on sale for Saturday’s fixture at the New York Stadium ticket office and online at www.rotherhamunitedshop.co.uk
