Goalkeeper Dillon Phillips was Matt Taylor's second signing of the 2023/24 summer transfer window, brought in to challenge Viktor Johansson for the number 1 spot.
Dillon began his career in the capital with Charlton Athletic who he joined aged just eight before progressing through the Academy ranks all the way to senior level.
He spent one of his formative years on loan in the National League with Cheltenham Town in 2015/16 where he nailed down the Number One shirt and made 37 appearances across all competitions.
The spell with the Robins clearly aided his development and upon his return to The Valley, he found first team opportunities presenting themselves more regularly.
The 2018/19 season would be Phillips’ most notable in his early years and would see him star in a promotion-winning campaign in which he made 37 appearances.
His time in the capital would come to an end after over 150 appearances in Addicks colours when Cardiff City swooped to secure his services for an undisclosed fee in 2020.
Phillips featured 36 times for the Bluebirds before spending the 2022/23 campaign overseas, having been on loan with Belgian top-flight outfit K.V Oostende.
