Young attacker Ben Hatton was rewarded his first professional contract in January 2024 after rising through the Academy system.
Aged 18, he penned a one-year senior deal despite being still ‘contracted’ until the summer of 2024, with the Millers having the options to extend his newly agreed professional deal by another 12 months until the summer of 2026.
Hatton was a shining light for the Academy throughout his time in the setup, with his performances impressing the first team staff at Roundwood.
The youngster was involved with the squad for the first time during Easter 2024, named on the bench for Rotherham’s Good Friday visit to Preston North End and the Easter Monday hosting of Millwall.
