Tyler Blackett joined the Millers' ranks following the expiration of his deal with MLS side Cincinnati FC.

Blackett’s formative years in football saw him work his way through the esteemed Manchester United Academy, where he won the FA Youth Cup before graduating to first team level. The Manchester-born operator would go on to represent the Red Devils 11 times, whilst also enjoying loan switches to Blackpool, Birmingham City and Celtic before his departure in 2016.

The defender has also been recognised up to U21 level with England having made a host of appearances for the Three Lions’ younger age groups throughout his fledgling years.

Now at 28 years of age, Blackett boasts bags of Sky Bet Championship experience on his CV with over 100 appearances in Reading colours being followed by a stay with Nottingham Forest.
