Where to put your money tomorrow night...

Rotherham United v Fulham

Promoted Rotherham won’t be involved in the relegation battle if they can maintain their current form and they’re 6/4 to make it two wins on the spin when they face Fulham. The Millers are unbeaten in their last three having beaten Leeds and Blackburn as well as drawing at Norwich but the Cottagers, who are 13/8 chances, won’t be pushovers despite being third from bottom. Fulham defeated Norwich last time out to continue their recent revival, so a draw at 12/5 looks a fair bet. Over 2.5 goals can be backed at 4/5, while both teams to score is 8/13. Alex Revell, who scored first against Leeds on Friday, is 6/1 to repeat the trick this time and 7/4 to net anytime, while Ross MCCormack of Fulham is 11/2 and 6/4 respectively in the same markets.

Top Tip: Alex Revell to score first at 6/1

The rest of the Championship

Blackburn Rovers v Birmingham City
Blackburn are without a win in their last four outings in the Sky Bet Championship but are odds-on favourites (4/5) to claim all three points when they play host to Birmingham (16/5) on Tuesday night. The Blues have endured a tough start to the campaign themselves with just one win in their last 11 in all competitions and parted company with manager Lee Clark on Monday. They are 10/11 in the double-chance market to either win or draw this match. Rovers claimed a 1-1 draw at Ipswich on Saturday and that outcome is the most popular correct score priced at 11/2. Birmingham’s 1-0 home defeat was the first time they had failed to score since the middle of September and both teams to find the net here is reasonably priced at 8/13.

Top Tip: Both teams to score at 8/13.

Blackpool v Derby County
Blackpool claimed their first victory of the season prior to the international break but suffered a 4-2 defeat Huddersfield on Saturday. They are 7/2 to bounce back with a win against high-flying Derby. County are 7/10 favourites, with the draw priced up as an 11/4 chance. Steve McClaren’s Rams are unbeaten since their 3-2 defeat at Charlton on August 19 and have scored two or more goals in six of their last seven Sky Bet Championship outings. Over 2.5 goals to be scored in the game can be backed at 5/6, while Derby to win and over 2.5 goals is 13/8. Jose Riga’s Blackpool have kept three clean sheets in their last seven league games and are 11/1 to win this 1-0.

Top Tip: Over 2.5 goals in the game at 5/6

Bournemouth v Reading
Bournemouth are 8/11 favourites with Football League sponsors Sky Bet as they bid to claim a third straight success in Tuesday’s clash with Reading (7/2). The draw is priced at 13/5, with a 1-1 outcome the most popular correct score at 11/2. The Cherries have won to nil in their last two homes games and are 2/1 to extend that record here. Reading are without a win since the middle of last month but are 6/1 to record a victory by a one-goal margin at Goldsands Stadium. The home side’s Callum Wilson heads the market to be the first goalscorer in the match at 7/2.

Top Tip: Bournemouth to score exactly two goals at 5/2.

Brentford v Sheffield Wednesday
Brentford are 23/20 markets leaders with Sky Bet ahead of Tuesday night’s Championship clash with Sheffield Wednesday. The Bees come into the game on the back of a 0-0 weekend draw at Wigan but won their two previous home games. The Owls have failed to emerge on top in their last four league games, but are 11/5 to pick up all three points at Griffin Park. The draw can be backed at 23/10, with 1-1 the most popular correct score priced at 5/1. Wednesday won 2-1 the last time the two teams met and a repeat of that outcome can be backed at 10/1.

Top Tip: Under 1.5 goals at 2/1.

Cardiff City v Ipswich Town
Cardiff are 13/10 favourites for this one despite sitting six places and four points behind Ipswich in the Sky Bet Championship table. The visitors are 19/10 shots. Ipswich are unbeaten in their last eight, but have drawn their last three in the Sky Bet Championship; another stalemate here is 23/10. Cardiff’s form has been less consistent, but they have recorded 2-1 victories in their last two home games against Sheffield Wednesday and Nottingham Forest. A third 2-1 win in succession on home turf is 17/2. Both teams have found the net in four of Cardiff’s last six games, and four of Ipswich’s last five. That’s a 5/6 chance here.

Top Tip: The draw at 23/10

Charlton Athletic v Bolton Wanderers
Neil Lennon got his Bolton career off to the ideal start with victory over Birmingham at the weekend, and it’s 2/1 for the Trotters to back that up with another win at Charlton on Tuesday night. Charlton are 5/4, the draw 23/10. Both teams have scored in only two of Bolton’s last eight matches in the Championship. Another ‘No’ in that market can be backed at 10/11 with Sky Bet. Charlton have had three 1-1 draws and a 0-0 stalemate in their last six games., while their two most recent wins and two most recent defeats have all been 1-0 scorelines. There have been under 2.5 goals in every Charlton match since August. All in all, this looks one of the most obvious tips of the night.

Top Tip: Under 2.5 goals at 8/11.

Huddersfield Town v Brighton and Hove Albion

Huddersfield and Brighton are both available at 8/5 to win their Tuesday night clash at the John Smith’s Stadium while the draw is 9/4 with Sky Bet. The Terriers head into the encounter on the back of a 4-2 victory over Blackpool so they should be confident of seeing off a Brighton side who lost 2-1 at home to Middlesbrough on Saturday. Four of Huddersfield’s last five games have featured three goals or more, so punters might be tempted by the even money on offer for the same to happen in this match while both teams to score is priced at 8/11. Terriers duo Nahki Wells and Harry Bunn are both 5/1 favourites to score first and 11/8 to net during the 90 minutes while the same prices are also on offer for Brighton’s Craig Mackail-Smith.

Top Tip: Over 2.5 goals at evens

Norwich City v Leeds United

Norwich will be desperate to bounce back from Saturday’s surprise defeat at struggling Fulham on Saturday and they are 8/15 to do so when they face 9/2 shots Leeds. The Canaries dropped to fourth in the table but are clear favourites to see off mid-table Leeds who are also licking their wounds from Friday night’s 2-1 loss at Rotherham and a draw at Carrow Road, which is 3/1, would be a fair result for them. It’s even money that two goals or less are scored (over is 8/11) while both teams to score can be backed at 8/11 (evens they don’t). Norwich pair Lewis Grabban and Cameron Jerome are both 7/2 to net the opening goal of the game and 10/11 to strike anytime while Leeds’ best hopes are Souleymane Doukara and Mirko Antenucci, who are 15/2 and 5/2 in the same markets.

Top Tip: Lewis Grabban to score the first goal at 7/2

Watford v Nottingham Forest

Sky Bet Championship leaders Watford are 13/10 favourites to claim their second successive win after cruising to a 3-0 victory at Sheffield Wednesday on Saturday. Nottingham Forest, who haven’t tasted victory in any of their last five league games, are 15/8 to reignite their promotion push with all three points at Vicarage Road while it’s 12/5 they pick up their fifth draw in six games. The Hornets and Forest are both among the highest-scoring teams in the division so it’s 8/11 that over 2.5 goals are scored  while it’s 4/7 that both sides find the net. Watford striker Troy Deeney is 9/2 to net first and 5/4 to score in 90 minutes while Britt Assombalonga is rated Forest’s best chance at 5/1 and 11/8 in the same markets.

Top Tip: Troy Deeney to score a brace at 7/1

Wigan Athletic v Millwall

Wigan are 4/5 favourites to beat fellow strugglers Millwall on Tuesday night as they look to kick-start their so-far-disappointing season The visiting Lions, who sit one place higher in 18th and have two more points than their opponents, are 16/5 to claim victory and 5/2 to earn a draw. The Latics have been involved in three goalless draws in their last six Championship outings, including Saturday’s stalemate with Brentford, and you can get 9/1 about there being no goalscorer on this occasion too. Under 2.5 goals can be backed at 8/11, while both teams to score is a 5/6 chance. Wigan’s Oriol Riera is 5/1 favourite to net the first goal and 11/8 to score anytime while Ricardo Fuller is regarded as Millwall’s best hope at 7/1 and 12/5 in those respective markets.

Top Tip: No goalscorer at 9/1

Wolverhampton Wanderers v Middlesbrough

Wolves are 11/8 favourites to overcome fellow high-flyers Middlesbrough on Tuesday night although their third-placed opponents will have plenty of backers at 19/10 as they chase a third successive victory. While Boro won at Brighton on Saturday, seventh-placed Wolves drew their second straight game after conceding two late goals at Millwall and it’s 9/4 that the spoils are shared here. There have been 20 goals netted in Wolves’ last four games so the 11/10 about there being over 2.5 in this clash will catch the eye while it’s 5/6 that both teams score. Nouha Dicko is 5/1 to score first and 11/8 to net anytime and although Kike is the shortest priced Boro player at 11/2 and 6/4, punters might be keen to back Albert Adomah at 15/2 and 5/2 given that he has scored in his last two games.

Top tip: Over 2.5 goals in the match at 11/10
