Jack Hunt on his return to the City Ground

Jack Hunt is set to be re-united with some old faces this evening as he takes on his former club Nottingham Forest.

Hunt enjoyed a loan spell at the City Ground earlier this season making 19 appearances in all competitions becoming a favourite with the Forest faithful in the process.

Since going back to parent club Crystal Palace he was snapped up by Millers boss Steve Evans making the right-back position his own in recent weeks.

Along with another former Forest ace in Matt Derbyshire, Hunt is relishing his return to the City Ground for this evening’s Sky Bet Championship encounter.

“I had a brilliant time there and I loved every second of it so I’m looking forward to going back but hopefully the result will go our way,” Jack told www.themillers.co.uk

“A lot of things have changed there since Dougie Freedman has come in and they’ve picked results up. It’s the exact same bunch of players and that change of manager and voice in the dressing room might have helped a few of them. Obviously I had a great time under Stuart Pearce and I wish him all the best with whatever he does in the future.

“I’ll always follow them and I’ve got a lot of close friends there so I hope they can push on but just not tonight.”

After a start which was blighted by injury Hunt has gradually worked his way into the first-team frame at AESSEAL New York, and he revealed he is delighted with his recent progress.

“I found it tough when I first came in because I got ill and then I got injured but I’ve found a little bit of form in the last couple of games and I’m finding that my fitness is getting back up to scratch. Hopefully from now until the end of the season I can keep doing what I’m doing."
