This year marks the 13th anniversary of Non-League Day and with the Millers taking a break from Sky Bet Championship action, Rotherham United are encouraging supporters to get their football fix by supporting one of the many local non-league sides in the area on Saturday 23rd March.
With the football schedule paused for the Premier League and Sky Bet Championship due to the international break, this event offers the perfect opportunity to take in a game at one of the many local teams in the area.
Here at Rotherham United, we’re incredibly proud of our association with Parkgate FC who we share our Roundwood training base with and annually take on in the opening pre-season friendly. The Steelman are in action on 23rd March as they continue their hunt for promotion with a trip to take on Wakefield AFC in the Northern Counties East League Division One.
If you’re looking for something taking place a little more locally, Maltby Main are at home to Penistone Church on the same date, with the game taking place at Muglet Lane.
