Rotherham United will invite supporters and people of the town to join us in celebrating our return to the Sky Bet Championship at a civic reception which will take place on Wednesday 4th May 2022.

The Millers clinched promotion as runners-up from Sky Bet League One when they overcame Gillingham on Saturday and the club are keen to thank supporters for their backing throughout the 2021/22 campaign, in a celebration which will see them travel from AESSEAL New York Stadium, calling at club partners Parkgate Shopping, before returning on to Rotherham Town Hall for a civic reception.

The event will allow our loyal fans to join in the party, with the Millers starting the parade at our AESSEAL New York Stadium home at around 4:30pm, before heading over to Parkgate Shopping for around 4.50pm, before returning to Rotherham Town Hall at around 5:45pm.

Paul Warne, his coaching staff and players will assemble for one final time before breaking away for the closed season, as they board the bus before gathering at the Town Hall to give short speeches and interviews to the assembled masses.

The event will allow loyal fans to join in the party, with the Millers starting the celebration parade at AESSEAL New York Stadium, with the following approximate timings:

4.30pm | Open-top bus leaves AESSEAL New York Stadium
