Rotherham United can confirm that supporters over 18 will be required to show proof of vaccination status or a negative lateral flow test result obtained 48 priors to kick off, in order to gain entry to Saturday’s Emirates FA Cup Third Round tie at Queens Park Rangers.

In line with government legislation, fans aged 18 or over now must comply with the above if attending any event with a capacity of over 10,000 people, with the Kiyan Prince Foundation Stadium – the venue of our Emirates FA Cup Third Round tie – fitting the above bill.

Proof of vaccination will be either via the NHS Covid-19 app or an official letter, or via other accepted Covid-19 passports such as the EU Digital Covid Certificate.

For supporters who don’t have a smartphone, a certificate can be obtained by ringing 119.

Proof of negative lateral flow test should be via a text message from the NHS or via the app if possible.

Please be aware that any supporter who fails to provide proof of certification when asked to do so WILL NOT be granted entry to the ground.

Face coverings will also be mandatory for supporters aged 11 and over in all indoor areas, with the exception of when eating or drinking or a valid exemption. Face coverings will not be required in the stand.

We would like to thank supporters in advance for their understanding and cooperation on this matter.
