Young midfielder who has made his way through the Rotherham Academy structure.

Born in Rotherham, Ben was given his first professional contract in 2017.

He made his senior debut in the Checkatrade Trophy fixture against Chesterfield, and also featured in the same competition against Bradford City.

Wiles impressed first team staff with his notable development in training and was kept at the club, rather than sent out on loan during the 2017/18 campaign.

Having been a regular in the senior setup during the club’s pre-season programme, including the trip to Austria, Wiles made his senior debut in the Championship as a second half substitute in the opening day defeat at Brentford.

Wiles' development continued throughout the 2018/19 campaign, evidenced by his regular involvement with Paul Warne's first team. The exciting midfielder went on to represent the Millers 23 times, in a season which saw the club relegated to the third tier, despite a brave fight against relegation which included some impressive results against sides with sights set on the Premier League.
