London-born attacker Mickel Miller arrived at Rotherham United in the summer of 2020, becoming Paul Warne’s first signing of the 2020-21 season.
The 24-year-old was snapped up following the expiration of his deal north of the border with Scottish outfit Hamilton Academicals. Miller impressed with the Accies for whom he turned out 68 times in all competitions after signing in 2018.
He is most commonly deployed as a winger but is also capable of operating in central attacking areas, with a keen eye for goal, evidenced by him finishing as Hamilton’s leading goalscorer in the 2018/19 campaign.
Miller earned his stripes in non-league with Carshalton Athletic before making the switch to Hamilton and professional football in the Scottish Premiership at 22-years-old.
During his time with Carshalton, he was a regular amongst the goals, with his form catching the eye of several EFL sides. In 2017, he was signed up to the V9 Jamie Vardy Academy where he was involved whilst playing for the Robins.
