30-year-old central defender Grant Hall has joined the Millers on loan for the 2022/23 campaign, bringing a wealth of experience at Sky Bet Championship level, having represented the likes of Birmingham City, Queens Park Rangers and Boro in the second tier.
Brighton-born Hall started his professional career with his hometown club following a successful trial period from local non-league side Lewes Town, before joining Tottenham Hotspur in the summer of 2012.
From there, he was sent out to further his footballing development with loan moves to Swindon Town, Birmingham City and Blackpool.
His next move would be across London to QPR, where he amassed 128 appearances during a five-year stay at Loftus Road, earning himself the captain’s armband in the process and winning the Supporters’ Player of the Year.
Hall's form for the R’s earned him plenty of admirers and he was snapped up by Boro following the expiration of his contract to become the club’s first signing of the 2020/21 campaign.
Having spent the previous two campaigns in the North East, Hall has now secured a temporary switch to AESSEAL New York Stadium.
