Rotherham United concluded a loan deal for Sheffield United youngster Femi Seriki on Deadline Day of the Winter transfer window, with the wing-back making the switch from Bramall Lane until the end of the 2023/24 season.
The 20-year-old, who is held in high regard by our near neighbours in S2 and had just finalised paperwork on a new long-term with the Blades, progressed through the Bury academy system before being snapped up by Sheffield United in 2019.
Seriki would make his Premier League debut shortly after agreeing terms at Bramall Lane with loan experience following with Sheffield United’s Belgian sister club Beerschot, Boston United and Rochdale, the latter of whom he represented 35 times in the league last season.
The young wide player joined the Millers on Deadline Day to give boss Leam Richardson further defensive options.
