DAN GREEN
Dan Green joined the Millers as First Team Strategic Development Coach in the summer of 2023. Green linked back up with Millers boss Matt Taylor – who he’d previously worked with at Exeter City – following a spell with Premier League side Aston Villa.
Green arrived in South Yorkshire with a wealth of coaching experience having enjoyed 12 years on the staff at St. James Park before being headhunted by Villa in the summer of 2022.
He was instrumental in the development of a host of exciting young talents whilst with the Grecians and his good work did not go unnoticed, as he was subsequently cherry-picked by the Villa Park-club to join them as their U21s coach to help their promising crop of youngsters reach their potential.
Having successfully worked alongside Taylor during their time together in Devon, Green made the decision to join the Millers ahead of their 2023/24 Sky Bet Championship campaign.
