Rotherham United are delighted to once again be welcoming volunteers from the Rotherham Hospice, who will be holding a bucket collection at Saturday’s South Yorkshire derby with Sheffield Wednesday in the Sky Bet Championship.
We are incredibly proud of our association with the Broom-based charity, who hold a special place in the hearts of so many people in our town and we will once again be showing our support to the Hospice at AESSEAL New York Stadium.
The Hospice is an independent charity and provide all of their expert care free of charge. They require £6million per year, including £3million which must be made through fundraising, with this Saturday’s hosting of the Owls presenting the perfect chance to help with these efforts.
The volunteers will be situated around AESSEAL New York Stadium ahead of kick off and will be accepting cash donations.
