Rotherham United would like to once again say an enormous thank you to Star People, who have helped to raise £1,790 for Rotherham Hospice thanks to their generous donation of six match-worn shirts and one match-issued shirt from the Millers’ Emirates FA Cup tie against Fulham.
Star People, a sister company of Events4Healthcare who made the same agreement in previous seasons, made it clear from the outset of their commercial agreement with the club that they would like to once again raise funds for the Hospice.
Star People are the strategic recruitment and outsourced partner for pharma, MedTech, and biotech companies looking to maximise their commercial success through tailored recruitment and people strategies. You can find out more about them HERE.
As a result of their charity, shirts worn by the likes of Hakeem Odoffin, Tom Eaves, Ollie Rathbone, and more have seen £1,790 raised for Rotherham Hospice.
Everyone here at Rotherham United would like to say a huge thank you to Star People, and indeed everyone that was involved in donating to a cause close to the hearts of so many in the town.
As well as Star People, the club would also like to place on record their thanks to CharityStars for accommodating the auction and helping the process run smoothly from start to finish.
We’d also like to take this opportunity to once again thank our Diamond Partners; AESSEAL, Equisolve, Hughie Construction Ltd, IPM Group, Mears Group and Steelphalt - who have enabled us to proudly wear the Rotherham Hospice logo across our first team shirts throughout the 2023/24 season as a result of a unique charitable commercial agreement.
