Rotherham United can confirm that Fred Onyedinma has returned to parent club Luton Town after it was mutually agreed by both clubs to end his season-long loan spell at AESSEAL New York.

The 27-year-old joined the Millers in the summer and made 19 appearances in all competitions before an injury sustained in the warm-up at Hull City curtailed his momentum at AESSEAL New York Stadium and has ruled him out of first team action ever since.

Onyedinma found the net twice in Rotherham United colours in Sky Bet Championship meetings with Blackburn Rovers and Leicester City.

Everyone at Rotherham United would like to thank Fred for his efforts whilst at Rotherham United and wish him well in his future endeavours, particularly as he continues to recover from his injury.
