Goalkeeper Viktor Johansson was voted the Mattress Online Man of the Match for Saturday’s 3-0 loss to Leeds United at Elland Road.
The Swede was once again in good form in West Yorkshire, making a number of excellent saves, but could do nothing to prevent Patrick Bamford’s opening goal, where the striker appeared to use his elbow to divert the ball past the keeper.
Johansson saved from Crysencio Summerville, Georginio Rutter Archie Gray and Wilfried Gnonto in the first half, but was eventually breached again when Summerville latched onto Rutter’s through pass and slid the ball under him in the second half. Summerville then added his second from the penalty spot moments later.
Johansson was nominated alongside Seb Revan and Sam Clucas, earning 73.9% of the 529 votes cast.
