Rotherham United midfielder Curtis Durose has joined Northern Premier League outfit Matlock Town until the end of the 2023/24 campaign, subject to ratification from the FA, EFL and Northern Premier League.
Durose’s progress has been closely monitored at Roundwood and the 20-year-old spent the first half of the season on loan with Scarborough in the National League North.
The youngster – who will still be eligible to feature for the Millers in the Central League Cup – will now spend the rest of the campaign on a youth loan with the Gladiators.
Durose could be inline to make his debut for his new club when they face Gainsborough Trinity tonight, who have fellow Millers loanees Joel Holvey and Hamish Douglas in their ranks.
