Dinnington Town were the stars of the show in Rotherham United’s Random Act of Kindness ahead of the game with Southampton in the Sky Bet Championship.
Having signed their grassroots partnership with the Millers’ Academy and Community Trust, the club surprised the Dinnington Town youngsters with the VIP treatment at AESSEAL New York Stadium ahead of the clash with the Saints.
Not only did the Dinnington players get an up close and personal look at the AESSEAL New York Stadium pitch and dugout areas, they were also invited to fly the centre circle flag as the two teams made their way out onto the pitch for the game.
If that wasn’t enough, they were back on the pitch for a special half-time shootout with Miller Bear as they practiced their penalty skills with our resident club mascot!
It was all smiles for the Dinnington youngsters who enjoyed a great week with Rotherham United having officially become a partner of the Academy and Trust before stepping foot on the hallowed turf soon after!
