Rotherham United can confirm that forward Georgie Kelly has completed a permanent switch to Sky Bet League One side Carlisle United for a fee that will remain undisclosed.
The deal, which remains subject to EFL and FA ratification, means that the Irishman ends his two-year long association with the Millers having played his part in a history-making moment that resulted in the club being promoted to the Sky Bet Championship at Gillingham.
In all, the 27-year-old turned out 51 times in Rotherham United colours and scored six goals having made the switch from the League of Ireland in January 2022.
Kelly departs for Brunton Park with the thanks and best wishes of everyone at Rotherham United.
