Rotherham United are delighted to confirm the loan signing of Aston Villa defender Sebastian Revan, subject to ratification from the EFL, FA and Premier League.
The 20-year-old Villa Academy product is capable of playing across the backline as well as in midfield and has predominantly been deployed as a left-back.
A versatile operator, Revan was named amongst the substitutes for a total of seven Premier League fixtures last term, though his first real taste of senior football came through a loan spell with Grimsby Town in 2021, making headlines during his time with the Mariners for netting a brace in a televised FA Cup clash with Bromsgrove Sporting.
A move down south to Hereford FC followed his spell at Blundell Park, making 24 appearances in all competitions for the Bulls.
The 20-year-old arrives as an FA Youth Cup winner with Villa in the 2020/21 season, playing in all six matches and even chipping in with a goal on his side’s run to competition glory.
Most recently, he played the full 90 minutes in Aston Villa’s 3-0 victory over Hibernian in the second leg of their UEFA Europa Conference League qualifying round.
