Rotherham United were delighted to be able to make Saturday’s fixture with Norwich City extra special for two supporters, who were the latest beneficiaries of our Random Act of Kindness initiative.
Working closely with Rotherham United Community Trust, we granted two supporters the chance to meet midfielder Hakeem Odoffin during the 2-1 victory over the Canaries.
Saxon meets Haks!
The first was young fan Saxon, who was chosen at random to meet Haks, with Philip – who had made a mammoth journey from Canada – also given the opportunity. He even donated a scarf!
The Random Act of Kindness scheme is running right throughout the 2023/24 campaign, meaning every home matchday will see supporters young and old chosen at random prior to games to enjoy a unique matchday experience, courtesy of Rotherham United.
All you need to do is get into the stadium in plenty of time ahead of kick off and it could be you that is chosen.
We hope Philip and Saxon had a fantastic day and we look forward to welcoming them back to AESSEAL New York Stadium soon.
