Everyone at Rotherham United would like to extend their heartfelt condolences to our former player Josh Vickers and all of his family and friends following the deeply-saddening news of the passing of his wife, Laura.
Josh was an incredibly popular figure in our dressing room at Rotherham United and many of the people he met here not only came to know Laura, but also became good friends with her during that time.
Laura sadly lost her long and brave battle with cancer on Tuesday just three months after her and Josh were married.

The Rotherham United first team have already expressed their desire to outwardly show their support to Josh and everyone connected with him and Laura at an upcoming fixture and we absolutely share their wish to ensure that Josh and all of the couple’s family and friends know that they have a network of people to call upon during this heart-breaking time.
