Rotherham United can confirm that striker Joshua Kayode has put pen-to-paper on a one year contract extension at AESSEAL New York Stadium and subsequently completed a season-long loan move to Sky Bet League One side Carlisle United, subject to ratification from the FA and EFL.
The Millers have acted to secure the striker’s future in South Yorkshire by extending his current deal, whilst also allowing him the opportunity to pursue regular game time with the Cumbrians.
Kayode returns to Brunton Park for his third spell with the club, having found the net eight times in 36 appearances in all competitions during his previous stint in Cumbria back in 2020/21.
