“I’m really pleased, we deserved the win. In the first half I thought we lacked a little bit of quality and control when we got in the opposition half.
“But that came in the second half and after that we had enough chances to score the two goals and maybe even more.
“They’ve had chances, we can’t deny that, but that is what’s going to happen at this level. I think both sets of fans will have got their money’s worth in that half.
“I’m so pleased that we have been on the right end of a result, it has felt like there have been a few occasions this season where we’ve ended up on the wrong side when our performance wasn’t far off.
“In terms of our overall performance, I think that is the best we’ve been this season. Obviously the whole feeling of the second half is good because of the goals, but the will, endeavour and quality that we’ve asking for showed.”
