Rotherham United were delighted to be able to make Tuesday’s fixture with Ipswich Town extra special for a group of lucky young supporters, who were the latest beneficiaries of our Random Act of Kindness initiative.
Working closely with our Community Trust, we granted 12 lucky youngsters the chance to enter the hallowed AESSEAL New York Stadium turf as flag bearers ahead of the fixture with the Tractor Boys.
The flag bearers are in important cog in the Rotherham United machine, as we look to build up the atmosphere ahead of kick off.
The Random Act of Kindness scheme is running right throughout the 2023/24 campaign, meaning every home matchday will see supporters young and old chosen at random prior to games to enjoy a unique matchday experience, courtesy of Rotherham United.
All you need to do is get into the stadium in plenty of time ahead of kick off and it could be you that is chosen.
