Rotherham United will be joining Watford in paying respects to our fallen servicemen and women when the two teams meet in the Sky Bet Championship at Vicarage Road on Saturday 11th November.
As is the case with all clubs across the pyramid, our colleagues at Watford are dedicating their nearest home fixture to Remembrance Day to those who gave their today for our tomorrow, which this year falls on the visit of Matt Taylor’s side.
We would like to make supporters aware that we will be joining our hosts in a period of silence prior to kick off at Vicarage Road, as a mark of respect.
Rotherham United would like to thank everyone in advance for their support for the planned tributes.
They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old; Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn. At the going down of the sun and in the morning, we will remember them.
