POST-MATCH | OUR CONNECTION AND TEAM SPIRIT WAS THERE TONIGHT - TAYLOR

"When that second goal goes in, it's almost that heartbreak feeling, especially with the manner of it being a bit of ricochet and not one that they'd really created from their good play - which they had an awful lot of.

"We felt as though we had goals in us tonight. We have to respect what they can do and where they can hurt you, but we always had a threat about us.

"We had an early threat and then a little bit of naivety to let them back into the game in that set piece moment, then it was very much in the balance for a long period.

"We had enough attacking players on the pitch but we still got forced deep at times so we had to make the most of our set piece opportunities and the equalising goal comes from a long throw.

"We wanted a solid approach, bodies behind the ball and a little bit of the 'old school' Rotherham United.

"I've said it before but I've just said it again to the group, we should only get stronger.

"It was Daniel Ayala's first start and if he gets more game time, he'll get stronger. Grant Hall is ready to come back into it, as is Lee Peltier and Jamie Lindsay is on the bench for the first time in a long time."
