Having already landed the Players’ Player of the Season award, Viktor Johansson capped off a landmark season by claiming the Player of the Season award, sponsored by A R Naylor & Sons.
The Swede has been a stalwart between the sticks throughout the campaign, and his eye-catching form has not gone unnoticed. He received his first ever senior call-up to the Sweden national team, as well as being desperately unfortunate to miss out on inclusion in the 2022/23 Sky Bet Championship Team of the Season.
Viktor has kept an impressive 12 clean sheets thus far, and averages the most saves per game in the entire second tier.
Johansson receives the award, seeing off formidable competition from Cameron Humphreys, Chiedozie Ogbene, and Ollie Rathbone.
