Rotherham United's Hakeem Odoffin has seen off strong competition to be land the Goal of the Season Award for the 2022/23 campaign, for his survival-sealing strike against Middlesbrough earlier this week.
As ever, competition for the award was high, with a duo of stunners from Ollie Rathbone and the eventual winner Hakeem Odoffin, as well as a sublime strike from Shane Ferguson and a South Yorkshire derby clincher from Ben Wiles all in the running for the award, which is sponsored by Hughie Construction.
As is commonly cited, Haks' doesn't do tap-ins. The midfielder has popped up with a handful of goals this campaign, each seeming to be more impressive than the last.
Odoffin can add this trophy to his shelf alongside his EFL Sky Bet Championship Community Player of the Year Award for the 2022/23 campaign.
