A last-gasp equaliser from Archie Day earned the Millers a 1-1 draw in their Youth Alliance League fixture with Burton Albion at St. George’s Park on Friday.
The Brewers took the lead in the first half when Toby Oakes opened the scoring in the 17th minute, heading home a cross from the left by Conor Pace.
The Millers went in search of an equaliser and thought they had it on 27 minutes, when Leiwi Abraham cushioned the ball into the path of Will Jenkinson from a corner but saw his effort saved by Kamil Dudek.
With time ticking away in the second half, Hamid Seisay speared a long-throw into the box and found Day, who was able to turn the ball into the back of the net right at the death.
