Rotherham United will welcome Premier League opposition to AESSEAL New York Stadium in a pre-season friendly when they host South Yorkshire neighbours Sheffield United on Tuesday 25th July 2023.
The Millers have already confirmed fixtures against Parkgate FC, Mansfield Town and Lincoln City and have now set the date with the Blades in stone as preparations for the 2023/24 season continue.
Matt Taylor’s side will welcome their newly-promoted neighbours to Rotherham for a 7pm kick off on Tuesday 25th July with the fixture falling in the week in-between the weekend trips to Mansfield Town and Lincoln City.
Ticket details for the visit of Paul Heckingbottom's side and when they will go on sale will be publicised on www.themillers.co.uk in due course.
The Millers are still in the process of finalising opposition and seeking confirmation on whether supporters will be able to attend any matches which take place as part of their overseas training camp in Murcia, with further detail to follow as we receive it.
