Rotherham United can confirm that supporters wishing to combine a summer trip to Spain with watching Matt Taylor’s first team in action during their overseas camp will be able to attend two open training sessions.
The Millers have been working hard behind-the-scenes alongside our travel operators for a number of weeks to confirm the logistics of the week-long trip to Murcia from Saturday 8th July and are now able to publicise that Taylor will open the doors of Pinatar Arena to fans wishing to watch the team train across two days on Thursday 13th July and Friday 14th July.
The first team do have a fixture booked into the diary on Saturday 15th July which is set to be played at a venue away from the Millers’ training base at Pinatar Arena, which unfortunately does not boast the facilities to permit supporters to attend.
The Millers are still finalising details on another fixture which is set to take place on Tuesday 11th July, but at this stage, we do not foresee fans being able to attend this match for reasons as above. Should any detail on the Tuesday match change, we will confirm details on www.themillers.co.uk at the earliest possible opportunity.
