Rotherham United are delighted to be welcoming the UK’s largest online printing company instantprint who have joined the club’s ever-growing commercial portfolio as Sleeve Sponsors for the 2023/24 Sky Bet Championship campaign.

This season clubs in the Sky Bet Championship have been afforded the opportunity by the EFL to bring on board a commercial partner to take pride of place on the sleeves of all their match jerseys in the league campaign and we are thrilled that instantprint will become the first business to complete this deal at Rotherham United.

The instantprint logo will occupy the space vacated by the removal of the Sky Bet logo on the left sleeve of the players’ jerseys and will sit above the Puma cat across all three outfield and both goalkeeper kits in 2023/24.

To ensure its seamless inclusion across the designs of this season’s kits, the instantprint branding will feature in two colours – black on the Primary and Alternate Change strips and white on the Change kit – and will further add to the aesthetics of the designs which have been well-received by Millers fans following their summer launch.

instantprint, who were founded in 2009, have exponentially grown into a nationally-recognised company having put over four million orders through their factory since opening their doors over 10 years ago.

instantprint’s co-founders Adam Carnell and James Kinsella moved the instantprint brand to Rotherham from Newcastle back in 2012. Perfectly situated at the heart of the country, they knew that this was the right move for the brand. After continued success, they moved to their current production facility in Manvers, Rotherham. By 2018, they had invested £5 million into their technology and their team.

Their 147,000 square foot factory has since made way for over 450 print experts within the company to ensure the highest quality output, over a third of whom live in the local area. Their website catalogue boasts thousands of product variants with products ranging from business cards to banners, flyers and signage.

Despite growing to a level that takes them well-beyond the realms of a local business, their commitment to community is evident in abundance, with instantprint having helped over 350,000 small companies and donating thousands to local Yorkshire charities throughout their years in operation.

Speaking having concluded the deal with Instantprint as the 2023/24 campaign draws closer, Rotherham United Commercial Director Steve Coakley said:

“It is always fantastic to welcome a new partner to the club and we are genuinely excited by the potential that this deal has for both ourselves and instantprint.

“It was clear from the conversations in the formative stages of this agreement that the values of our new colleagues at Instantprint very much mirrored our own in respect of their commitment to community which is obviously incredibly important to us.

“Beyond that, we are really pleased with how their branding complements our three outfield and two goalkeeper shirts and we are confident that the level of exposure that the Sky Bet Championship provides us with both domestically and abroad will mean that all parties will benefit from this new agreement.”

Laura Mucklow, Head of instantprint commented:

“As a local Rotherham company, who employs Rotherham residents and serves thousands of businesses in our area, we knew we wanted to invest in our town, people, and community further.

"Our sponsorship with Rotherham United Football Club helps us to do just that. Becoming a kit sponsor for our local team is such an exciting opportunity for the instantprint brand, our team, our customers and of course Rotherham people. We’re incredibly proud to sponsor a team that shares our ethos.”
