Boss Matt Taylor was proud of his side’s display as high-flying Watford found the Millers a tough nut to crack at Vicarage Road.
“I’m proud of the performance. It was a good game of football. I can’t stand here and say I’m disappointed (we haven’t won) but I thought it was just something we deserved, in terms of the way we created chances and with Tariqe’s chance near the end.
“Their goal is avoidable but the effort in the last two weeks has been the start and end point and we showed a little quality as well. We are all in and the players are giving absolutely everything.
“We are still incredibly short in certain areas but that group is connected. There is simplicity to our game but we’ve also added quality. Confidence is back within the group and we’ve added some bodies.
“I’m excited about what is to come. I’m already looking forward to the Sheffield United game. I want the players to look forward to it as well because both Blackburn and Watford, are very good teams.”
