Rotherham United’s U18s suffered defeat on the road to Harrogate Town who they were beaten 2-0 by in the Youth Alliance League.
The youngsters, who were overseen by Joe Skarz in this mid-February meeting with Town, were unable to record a result in North Yorkshire, where they played just shy of half an hour with 10 men.
Life got harder for the young Millers when Hamish Douglas was given his marching orders on 62 minutes for a second bookable offence and despite another committed showing, the visitors returned to South Yorkshire with nothing to show for their efforts in respect of points.
