Rotherham United will join the rest of the EFL in paying tribute to the people who tragically lost their lives following the devastating earthquake that took place in Turkey and Syria on Monday morning.
The minute’s silence will be held prior to Saturday’s fixture with Blackpool at Bloomfield Road and as a further mark of respect, we will be wearing black arm bands for this fixture.
Over 21,500 people have been reported to have lost their lives and thousands more injured and the thoughts of everyone at Rotherham United are with those who have been affected by this tragedy.
Through the EFL’s official charity partnership with the British Red Cross, the league is supporting the Disasters Emergency Committee (DEC) Appeal to help those impacted by the earthquake.
For supporters who are able to do so, you can donate towards the relief effort, here.
