Rotherham United are appealing to supporters who may have witnessed a serious incident in our recent Sky Bet Championship fixture against Coventry City to anonymously contact the club with information.

The Millers are looking to identify an individual who threw a missile onto the field of play in the direction of Sky Blues goalkeeper Ben Wilson on Saturday 18th February 2023.

The incident took place late in the second half of the match in the KCM Waste Management North Stand and the club are now working alongside South Yorkshire Police to ensure that the matter is dealt with accordingly.

The club can be sanctioned by football’s regulatory bodies for behaviour of this kind with financial penalties – and worse – imposed for offences.

Any assistance that we are able to provide during these investigations reaffirms the club’s stance on stamping out serious anti-social behaviour within the game.

If you have any information regarding the above incident, please email office@rotherhamunited.net. All information will be private and confidential and the identity of those individuals providing us with details will be kept anonymous.
