Rotherham United can confirm that promising young midfielder Curtis Durose has extended his loan stay with Northern Premier League outfit Gainsborough Trinity until the end of the 2022/23 campaign.

Durose has enjoyed a fruitful loan spell with the Trinity since first arriving at The Northolme back in August, going on to establish himself as a mainstay in former Scunthorpe United and Notts County midfielder Neal Bishop’s side.

Durose’s progress has been closely monitored by the first team staff up at Roundwood, with the terms of the loan allowing the 19-year-old to continue to train with the Millers and feature in their Central League Cup campaign.

The Trinity are currently 6th in the Northern Premier League standings and are in action tonight when they host Marske United.

Everyone at Rotherham United would like to wish Curtis all the best for the remainder of his loan spell.
