Rotherham United supporters in the ground ahead of our Sky Bet Championship clash with West Bromwich Albion were on the lookout for golden tickets which entitled them to take part in Miller Bear’s half-time penalty shootout as part of our Random Act of Kindness.
Millers fans who had taken their seats early ahead of the match against the Baggies were given golden tickets by club mascot Miller Bear, which booked them their place in the half-time shootout.
Those same fans then had the chance to step onto the hallowed turf and hone their skills from the penalty spot as they tried to beat Miller Bear who had taken up position in goal.
As always, we would encourage fans to get into the ground early ahead of home games to be in with the opportunity of enjoying a random money-can’t-buy experience.
We hope that our penalty kings and queens enjoyed their moment in the spotlight on our first team pitch!
