"We're obviously disappointed with the result.
"Performance-wise, we thought we started really brightly then we went down to 10 men and even then I thought we stayed in the game.
"We could have gone in at half-time level if we hadn't conceded that goal and I thought we came out in the second half looking well-organised with a good shape about us. We didn't sit and we tried to get ourselves up the pitch and at times we did cause them some problems.
"I think it changes the course of the game [the sending off], I don't think there's any doubt about that.
"Anyone that had watched the game in the first 15 minutes will have known that it was all Rotherham. Swansea couldn't get any sort of rhythm but the sending off changed the course of the game."
