Rotherham United Reserves will once again be competing in this season’s instalment of the Central League Cup.
As has been the case in previous campaigns, the Millers have opted against competing in the EFL Central League, league competition but have joined the cup competition again this season in the hope that these fixture will provide some minutes to those players on the periphery of the first team and the club’s youngsters.
The competition begins with a round-robin group stage tournament, with the winners of the group guaranteed a place in the knockout stages.
Last term, the Millers made it to the semi-finals of the competition, where they were eventually beaten by Blackpool.
In their group this year are Salford City, Stockport County, Huddersfield Town and Bolton Wanderers, with their confirmed fixtures detailed below:
