The man advantage sparked a second half fightback from Jon Dahl Tomasson’s side who went on to restore parity at 2-2 despite the Millers battling valiantly throughout.
The former Hamilton man provided the Millers with an energetic presence in a slightly more advanced role in the midfield engine room and showed his quality both on and off the ball.
Odoffin was named in the four-man shortlist alongside Ollie Rathbone, Viktor Johansson and Tyler Blackett and earned himself the award as he landed 38.9% of the 664 votes cast following the final whistle.
