Rotherham United supporter Judith Wild has been rewarded with a whopping £4,000 after landing the Millers Mayday jackpot prize for the 2022/23 campaign, with her number drawn out at our recent fixture with Coventry City at AESSEAL New York Stadium on Saturday 18th February.

The Millers Mayday scheme has financially supported the running of the club’s Academy setup since 1987 and continues to provide essential funding for youngsters within the system as they look to embark on their footballing journey with the Millers.

Judith, her husband and children are regulars at AESSEAL New York Stadium and she is signed up to the highly successful initiative, which is drawn weekly.

Having won the jackpot prize, Judith told www.themillers.co.uk that she is looking towards turning back the clock to celebrate a special occasion, with a trip to the Caribbean on the agenda.

“My husband and myself have fairly significant birthdays coming up in the next two years, so we’re going to put it towards a holiday, which we’re hoping will be very special.

“We got married in Grenada and a return to the Caribbean is something that we’re certainly looking towards to turn the clocks back a little and this money will go towards helping us do something like that.

“I come to watch the team now and again, but my husband and children are regulars at the games. Every time I come down I’ll always enter the Millers Mayday.

“It is fantastic to win this jackpot prize and I’d like to thank everyone at Rotherham United. It is obviously a great initiative and also goes towards helping future Millers talent, too.”
