Matt Taylor post Burnley...

“It was a proper game of football, which had everything and more. You honestly couldn’t write a script when it comes to the things that have gone against us, even going behind twice against the best team in the league.

“We had our goalkeeper injure his groin and not be able to kick it right. We had to make the change at half time alongside Jordan Hugill. The spirit the whole group showed tonight was exceptional.

“I think the fans felt that as well, sometimes it’s easy to do when there’s not that much expectation in the fixture, because everyone could see the quality that Burnley possessed, but we were right where we needed to be tonight.

“We’ve not equalised enough this season, so to do it twice was really pleasing. We deserved that, people talk about pressure and seeing out certain moments in the game. The attitude and effort can take you far and we need to continue that into the next game.

“I’m delighted that I’m stood here with a point, because I thought the players deserved something to show for their efforts.”
